From I-10 From Mobile (I-10 East):
Take I-10 East to exit 44 in Loxley. Take a right onto Highway 59 South. Follow 59 until the Foley Beach Express and take a left. Follow for 14 miles and go through the toll booth. At the light, take a left onto Canal Road. The entrance for The Wharf will be on your left.

 

From Pensacola (I-10 West):
Take I-10 West to exit 44 in Loxley. Take a left onto Highway 59 South. Follow 59 until the Foley Beach Express and take a left. Follow for 14 miles and go through the toll booth. At the light, take a left onto Canal Road. The entrance for The Wharf will be on your left.

 

From I-65 From Montgomery:
Take I-65 South until exit 37. Take a left at the exit onto AL-287 towards Gulf Shores Parkway. Turn slight right onto Gulf Shores Parkway (AL-59) and continue to follow until the Foley Beach Express and take a left. Follow for 14 miles and go through the toll booth. At the light, take a let onto Canal Road. The entrance for The Wharf will be on your left.

By Boat
Located nearly half way between the Mobile Bay and Pensacola Bay at mile marker 158.8, boaters can travel along the Intracoastal Waterway to The Wharf. We are about 8 miles east of Bonsecour Bay and 8 miles west of the Perdido Bay. Perdido Pass on the Gulf of Mexico is approximately 12 miles away.

Using NOAA Nautical Chart 11378:

 

Entering Mobile Bay from either the Gulf of Mexico, The Gulf Coast Intra Coastal Waterway (GCICW) or the Tennessee Tom Big Bee Waterway (Tenn-Tom) proceed to the intersection of the GCICW (MM 133.5) and the Mobile Ship Channel near buoys #25 & #26. Proceed Easterly, following the GCICW to the Foley Beach Express Bridge at GICW (MM 158.8). The Wharf is on the South Bank.

Entering Pensacola Bay either from the Gulf of Mexico or the GCICW, proceed to the intersection of the Pensacola Ship Channel GCICW (MM 179.5) and the Pensacola Ship Channel as the GCICW crosses between buoys #13  & #15. Proceed West through the “Land Cut” and enter Big Lagoon. Continue Westward following the GCICW to the Foley Beach Express Bridge at GCICW (MM 158.8). The Wharf is on the South Bank.

Entering the Perdido Pass from the Gulf of Mexico (Local Knowledge is Recommended), come through the pass and navigate through the Perdido Pass Bridge. Enter St. Johns Bayou. Follow St. Johns Bayou for approximately 3  Nautical Miles (3.5 Statute miles), to its junction with the GCICW at MM 167. Once in the GCICW, following the GCICW to the Foley Beach Express Bridge at GCICW (MM 158.8). The Wharf is on the South Bank.

Hwy 182 Gulf Beach Blvd - Perdido Pass Bridge:
Fixed, Horizontal Clearance 100 feet
Vertical Clearance 54 feet

 

At the Wharf, Orange Beach, AL; 
Foley Beach Express Bridge - GCICW 158.8
Fixed, Horizontal Clearance 250 feet 
Vertical Clearance 73 feet.

 

The Marina at the Wharf is dredged to 9 feet at Mean Low Water, Docks are Floating, with a 18 inches of freeboard. Be sure to radio the Wharf Marina Channel 16 a few miles prior to your arrival so we can be ready to greet you at the dock and show you to your slip. It’s best if overnight reservations for transient slips are made well in advance, as they fill up quickly on weekends and during special events.

 

By Plane
Whether you fly commercial into Mobile or Pensacola, you're just a little over an hour away from either airport. Have your own plane? The Jack Edwards Airport in Gulf Shores is just 3 miles from The Wharf. Flight arrangements can be made by contacting them directly at 251-968-6380.

 

From Mobile Airport:

Start out going SOUTHEAST on JOSEPH DRAWNS DR toward AIRPORT BLVD / CR-56 W.

Turn LEFT onto AIRPORT BLVD / CR-56 E.

Merge onto I-65 S.

Merge onto I-10 E via EXIT 0 on the LEFT toward FLORIDA.

Merge onto AL-59 S via EXIT 44 toward LOXLEY / GULF SHORES-BEACHES / GULF STATE PARK.

Turn LEFT onto FOLEY BEACH EXPRESS (Portions toll).

At the end of FOLEY BEACH EXPRESS take a left on to CANAL RD. and then take your next LEFT at the stop light and you will be at THE WHARF.

 

From Pensacola Airport

Start out going SOUTHWEST on AIRPORT BLVD toward COLLEGE BLVD.

Turn RIGHT onto COLLEGE BLVD.

Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto N 9TH AVE / CR-289.

Turn RIGHT onto BAYOU BLVD / FL-296. Continue to follow FL-296.

Stay STRAIGHT to go onto SAUFLEY FIELD RD / CR-296.

Turn LEFT onto N BLUE ANGEL PKWY / FL-173 S.

Turn RIGHT onto SORRENTO RD / FL-292. Continue to follow FL-292 (Crossing into ALABAMA).

FL-292 becomes AL-182 / PERDIDO BEACH BLVD.

Turn RIGHT onto AL-161.

Turn Left onto CANAL ROAD

THE WHARF will be on your RIGHT before you get to the FOLEY BEACH EXPRESS
